English is the only foreign language worth learning?

Today, many people believe that English is the most valuable foreign language to learn. I agree with this view for a number of reasons.

First of all, English is the language of business, computers and the Internet. Therefore, it is an important part of daily and working life. People need to be able to understand English in order to conduct business meetings, use the Internet and use a variety of computer software programs.

What is more, it is the second language in many countries around the globe. Also, you can be sure that wherever you go, you will find someone who speaks English.

On the other hand, many people believe that other foreign languages such as Spanish or French are more important to learn. However, there are very few countries where most people do not speak any English at all.

In conclusion, I believe that although there are valid reasons for learning other foreign languages, English is by far the most important language to learn in the modern world. After all, it is the language of the future.
